  • We chose a private tour as we only had one day for touring Phnom Penh and didnt want to be distracted or delayed by other guests on a tour. So relieved this is what we did, as the whole day was completely targeted at our needs.

The guide, Mr. Sna, was superb – friendly and knowledgable. He arrived early at our hotel which was fabulous as we didnt have to rush around. The car (a Toyota Camry) was in great condition with chilled water on offer all day.

We were not rushed through the sites – in fact Mr. Sna walked us round with a steady pace but full of knowledge and spent time with us to answer our questions.
Lunch was at “Friends’ charity restaurant, which we were thrilled about as it was on our list of ‘must dos’ for the trip – and it did not disappoint at all! This was a major step forward from the normal sloppy touristy restaurant you get sent to on organised day tours.

I would highly recommend Mango Cambodia if you are looking to book a tour. Definitely worth the money!

  • I had a fantastic tour guide (whose name escapes me at the moment) and I really appreciated his personal stories that he added to the tour as he took me around the killing fields and S21 prison. I found the Killing Fields extrememly overwhelming and he was sensitive and understanding. The lunch spot he chose was delicious.

    Thanks for organising the tour.

  • We thoroughly enjoyed our Phnom Penh Tour led by Pea. Pea was full of knowledge and answered all of our questions well. Although the rain caused a change in the order of the tour, seeing all the sights of the local area with a local person made for a fantastic tour. Lunch was also lovely. I have already started recommending this tour with Mango Cambodia to friends looking at travelling there next year.

  • I did 2 tours through Mango Cambodia while there in September/October. One was a fleeting temple tour in Siem Reap, the other was a tour of the Phnom Penh sights. Both tours were great and I honestly have no negative feedback for you. My tour of Phnom Penh was cancelled due to flash flooding where we got stuck in a hotel parking lot for several hours – and while this sounds horrible it was actually quite an amusing experience for me, and let’s face it, you guys can’t control the weather! Luckily, the guys at Mango were able to reschedule the tour for me as I had one more day the following weekend where I could fit in this tour – that day turned out to be rain free and the tour went ahead as scheduled J Both the guides I encountered were fantastically knowledgeable and were happy to answer all of my questions. Their English was great (which is great – because my Cambodian is terrible!) and the day ran smoothly. Drivers were great and the vehicles comfortable – especially the air conditioning.

I loved Cambodia and will be recommending Mango tours to anyone I come across who’s looking for a tour company in SE Asia.

  • Thank you for asking about my experience. It was wonderful! Sophea was a great tour guide and I really enjoyed my time with him. He was knowledgeable, friendly and professional. All three excursions I took were great. I only wish I had more time in Phnom Penh so I could have seen more. I hope to return to Cambodia someday and will definitely use Mango, as well as recommend it to others!
